OBJECTIVES OF THE SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ACCORDING TO THE IGS CODE

Coasts & Ports has defined the following objectives of the Security Management System:

• Establish security practices in the operations of all Vessels managed by the Company and in the work environment.
• Evaluate all the risks indicated in the Vessels managed by the Company, its personnel and the environment in order to take the appropriate precautions.
• Continuously improve the practical knowledge of ground and on-board personnel on safety management, as well as the degree of preparedness to deal with emergency situations that affect safety and the environment.
• Ensure that the mandatory rules and regulations are complied with.
