ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICIES
COASTS & PORTS offers all its employees the possibility of working in an environment free of alcohol and drug use, which is why it is prohibited to use or sell alcoholic beverages and / or drugs in its facilities. These substances are strictly prohibited during the execution of their activities, both for land and sea personnel, as well as at the ports of shipment.
Access to the Ship is also restricted to those persons who are under the influence of alcohol and drugs and who have ingested alcoholic beverages in sufficient quantity to diminish their abilities and ability to respond to any emergency. Workers must have a minimum of 8 hours prior without the effects of these agents upon arrival at the job site. All medical prescriptions for any psychotropic drug or substance must be declared to the Ship Captain.
Violations of this policy will be subject to disciplinary sanctions.
COASTS & PORTS reserves the right to carry out analyzes, tests and/or detection tests and/or alcohol and/or drug control to staff after any accident or when there are reasonable grounds to suspect that they are under the influence of them.
